Pandora is Coming Soon and More Disney Parks News You Need!

Welcome to the News You Need! Walt Disney World is ramping up for a big, big summer and March brought us lots of great details about what’s in store. Let’s take a look at some of the news that will affect how you vacation at the Disney parks in 2017!

FastPass+ for Pandora’s two rides are now open! Animal Kingdom’s exotic new land, Pandora – based on the James Cameron movie – is being revealed piece by tiny piece before its May 27 open date. Currently, FastPass+ is open for both the banshee coaster and the bioluminescent boat ride that will mark the land’s attractions map.

Miss Adventure Falls is open at Typhoon Lagoon – Typhoon Lagoon has added a brand new family water attraction described as, “From your 4-person raft, feel a rush of excitement with family and friends as an aquatic conveyor belt chutes you into action. The Tangled Photo Op Remains The wildly popular PhotoPass photo opportunity at the Magic Kingdom that has guests holding an illuminated lantern from Tangled will remain open during friendly weather for the foreseeable future. The photo op debuts nightly around sunset, and has a pretty substantial wait (more than half an hour) when the Kingdom is even a little busy.

Disneyland’s Tower of Terror Has Been Re-Themed In a move that has separated theme park fans down distinct lines, Disneyland has redone the outside of Tower of Terror for the new experience, “Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout”. The exterior of the tower has a completely new look with pipes and a colorful palette for the re-themed ride that will open on May 27. Photo by Attractions 360
