Presenting the 2006 Walt Disney World Ambassador

DVC Resale Market is proud to introduce its newest team member, Mike Collier. Mike’s Disney career began back in 2004 on the WDW College Program, and soon Mike was promoted to Concierge Manager at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

In 2006, Mike had the honor of being selected as 1 of the 2 Walt Disney World Cast Members to be selected as an Ambassador. As the Walt Disney World Ambassador Mike had the responsibility of representing the more than 70,000 Cast Members in Central Florida at various media and community events. While the Walt Disney World Ambassador Mike got the opportunity to visit Walt Disney’s apartment at Disneyland and have brunch on Walt Disney’s balcony on Walt Disney’s birthday (Dec. 5th). It’s easy to understand why Mike recalls this as his favorite Disney memory.

You may also recognize Mike as the former host of the DVC informational DVD. Along with Samantha Brown of the Travel Channel, Mike was the featured DVC host teaching prospective Members how DVC works. In addition to hosting responsibilities, Mike had many accolades while at DVC including being a 5-time Leadership Circle Award Winner and leading the company in sales for 2014.

Mike also got to travel around the world as part of the DVC Cruise Team from 2011-2015, but certainly appreciates being able to spend more time in Orlando now with his wife and young daughter, Brooklyn Rae who was born in June 2014.
