Beach Club Villas: How Much More Can You Get with a Resale Contract?

If you’re browsing this website, you probably already know that you can save thousands of dollars on a resale DVC contract compared to buying one directly through Disney. Beyond these savings, another way to measure the difference in value between a resale contract and a direct one is the number of points you can purchase for the same price. To illustrate, let’s take a look at a Beach Club Villas direct contract versus a Beach Club Villas resale contract.
Why Beach Club Villas?
If EPCOT is your favorite theme park, and pool time is a priority, then the Beach Club Villas is a great home resort for you! Beach Club Villas is located on the picturesque Crescent Lake, and it is the closest DVC resort to EPCOT. Just walk a few minutes, and you’re right at International Gateway, the back entrance to EPCOT. Hollywood Studios isn’t far either. You can take a Friendship boat, the Skyliner, or take a nice stroll past the BoardWalk to get there.
The Beach Club is likely best known for its feature pool, Stormalong Bay. The 3-acre pool has a sand bottom, lazy river, whirlpool spas, elevated tanning deck, and a 230-foot shipwreck-themed waterslide called The Flying Jib.

Although the contract ends in 2042, a pro to an older resort like the Beach Club Villas is the lower points chart. Fewer points per night means you can stretch your points further. With so many amazing advantages to staying at the Beach Club Villas, the resort is a perennial favorite. This popularity makes the 11-month booking window incredibly valuable if you want to stay at the Beach Club regularly.
What Does a Beach Club Villas Direct Contract Cost?
As of September 2025, a direct contract at the Beach Club Villas goes for $275 per point. If looking at an average-size contract of 160 points, that direct contract would cost a total of $44,000. For that 160-point contract, you could get a weeklong stay in a Deluxe Studio at the Beach Club for all travel periods except around Christmas and Easter.
How Much Can You Save with a Beach Club Villas Resale Contract?
As of August 2025, the average price per point for a Beach Club Villas contract is $134 per point. For a 160-point resale contract, the total cost would be $21,440. That’s $22,560 less than the cost of a 160-point direct contract! In other words, a resale Beach Club Villas contract is less than half the cost of a direct one.
How Many More Points Can You Get By Going with a Resale Contract?
Another way to look at the difference between direct and resale is that if you were to put the $40,000 that you would have spent on a direct Beach Club Villas contract towards a resale contract instead, you could purchase a 300-point contract! In other words, buying a resale contract instead of a direct one could get you 140 more points–almost twice the points!
With nearly twice the points, you can go on more frequent vacations, or you could upgrade to larger accommodations. For 300 points, you could have a weeklong stay in a One Bedroom Villa most travel periods or a Two Bedroom Villa during the three cheapest travel periods.
Bottom line: Buying a Beach Club Villas resale contract instead of a direct contract can save you more than 50% or get you almost twice as many DVC points for longer stays or larger accommodations!
