DVC with Babies and Toddlers: What Can You Request for Your Villa?

Between extra diapers and snacks and all the stroller gear, it may feel like you are traveling with everything but the kitchen sink when you travel with little ones. However, it’s helpful to know that there are some items that you don’t have to pack and that you can request through Disney.
Here are a few items that you can request for your DVC villa that can make your room more comfortable for your baby or toddler.
Pack and Play or Mini Crib
You can request a pack and play or mini crib for your baby or toddler. Which one you receive is typically dependent on what is available. The resort will even provide a Disney-themed fitted sheet for the pack and play or mini crib!

Bed Rails or Bed Bumpers
If your child has graduated to regular beds, Disney has either bed rails or bed bumpers. As of late 2025, it seems that the bed rails are being phased out, so you may only be able to get bed bumpers in the future. The bumpers fit under the sheets to create a barrier, so your child can’t accidentally roll out of bed.
High Chair
Disney doesn’t have booster seats to offer, but they do have high chairs upon request. A high chair is especially helpful in the One Bedroom Villas or larger rooms where you have the full kitchen and dining table. This way your little one can more comfortably join in at meal time.

Step Stools
Some of the newer DVC accommodations like the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness or the newly refurbished rooms at Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Villas already have step stools by the bathroom sink. However, if your room does not have a step stool, you can still request one.
Non-Slip Bath Mats
Perhaps a less common request but nonetheless helpful one is a non-slip mat for bath time. PlanDisney mentioned that they are available upon request.
How to Make a Request
There are a few different ways that you can request these items:
- My Disney Experience – Use the chat feature to make your request.
- Member Services – Call, chat, or email Member Services to place your request.
- Housekeeping – Once you are in your room, you can use the housekeeping button on the room phone to make your request. You can also use the Hey Disney device.
Note that any requests are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
