Without a doubt, you would call my family Disney fanatics, as we have visited Walt Disney World (WDW) nearly 30 times in the last 10 years! I have always been interested in the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) and finally made my dream a reality by purchasing a membership at Animal Kingdom Lodge in 2011. For us, it was a way to be a greater part of the Disney family which we love, and allowed us the opportunity to stay at the beautiful Deluxe Resorts which at times would be unavailable to us without membership. My 12 year old daughter plans on visiting WDW for many more years to come, and owning this DVC membership is definitely an investment in her future. The DVC staff are wonderful to deal with and set the gold standard for professionalism, customer service, and simply making us feel at home. “Welcome home” it is!We purchased our membership while sailing on the Disney Dream. The DVC representative on the ship was a wonderful person by the name of Nick Cotton. Nick is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and very personable. From the very beginning of our relationship, my family’s best interests have been his top priority. Nick’s knowledge of all things DVC and the level of integrity he displayed during our purchasing process are second to none. What I truly appreciate is Nick’s continued interest in ensuring that we are completely satisfied with our DVC experience. Nick and I have kept in touch over the years, and I think of him as a friend. I’m not the kind of customer who likes to be “sold” to, especially when it comes to a big purchase. I do my research and pretty much know what I want before I even talk to a salesperson. So, while I was interested in buying into Disney Vacation Club, I was dreading the timeshare sales experience, even if it was the lighter tough DVC is known for. Right away, Nick set me at ease. It was obvious he not only knew the “product” inside and out, but he really believed in it. He took the time to understand what I wanted in a vacation, he answered all my questions in a straightforward way, and he even pointed out some of the possible cons I should consider along with the many pros. Nick made the entire process not just easy, but fun. He didn’t feel like a salesperson–he felt like an ally. I really can’t say enough good things about Nick, and I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

I feel as though Nick has been a part of my family for the past six years. Whether it has been phone calls or visits while in Walt Disney World, Nick has been there from Day 1. I first met Nick Cotton while vacationing down in Disney World. My family of 5 took regular vacations in Disney, spending thousands of dollars for vacations that could have been ours for a fraction of the price. We first bought into Disney Vacation Club in 2008, after Nick spent the day with us answering all of our questions without an intense sales pitch. We all were impressed with Nick’s command of the numbers, eloquently showing us the savings that could be ours with owning in DVC instead of paying a la carte for our vacations. We didn’tfeel rushed or talked down to. No matter who asked the questions (even my children), Nick took as much time as needed to answer them all. I was not surprised to learn later that Nick was the #1 salesperson at DVC for many years. Our relationship with Nick and his family has continued. He is not “just a salesman,” but a friend who takes the timeto follow up with any issues or new opportunities. His southern charm and caring personality makes it easy to understand his success. If you are interested in buying into DVC, selling your current DVC timeshare, or thinking of purchasing real estate in Florida, I whole heartedly recommend Nick Cotton for all of your real estate needs.
