Is a Disney Annual Pass Worth It for DVC Members?

Many DVC Members find that they travel more frequently than they did prior to becoming Members. After all, points are fun, and they make it easier to return to Disney destinations again and again! At some point, you may be wondering if a Disney World annual pass may be worth it.
DVC Members who are eligible for Membership Extras can purchase the Sorcerer Pass even if they live outside of Florida, but let’s take a look at the math for the Incredi-Pass since this tier is available to anyone, including DVC Resale Members.
How Much Is an Incredi-Pass?
As of April 2026, an Incredi-Pass costs $1,629. This is the annual pass that has no blackout dates, which is great if you happen to travel during peak times, such as around Thanksgiving or Christmas and New Year’s.
How Much Is a Park Hopper?
Since annual passes allow you to park hop, it’s best to compare the annual pass against a park hopper ticket versus a regular base ticket. This part is a little less straightforward since tickets are date-based. A 7-day ticket starts at $83 per day and can go as high as $130 per day in 2026 before adding the park hopper option, which is an extra $50 to $75 per day, depending on the date.

What is the Breakeven Point for an Incredi-Pass?
Let’s look at a specific example to run the numbers. Perhaps you go on two weeklong vacations this year, May 4-10 and December 1-7. A 7-day park hopper for an adult (guests ages 10 and up) for May 4-10 would cost $890.88. The price happens to be the same for a 7-day park hopper for December 1-7. That would bring you to a total of $1,781.76 for park tickets for the two trips–$152.76 more than what an Incredi-Pass would cost you for the year.
Since the park hopper is date-based, you’ll want to check the math with your specific travel dates to figure out the most accurate comparison.
Other Factors to Consider
If you are just shy of breaking even on the Incredi-Pass, you may want to also take into consideration some of the discounts that come with being a Passholder. For example, with your annual pass, you can get up to 20% off on select merchandise, discounts on dining, and free standard parking at the theme parks. These benefits may seem small but can add up if you dine and shop at Disney World enough throughout the year or bring your own vehicle on property.

What Are Other Ways to Save on Tickets?
If an annual pass doesn’t make sense for your travels, you can find discounted tickets through our friends at Unlocked Magic. For example, that 7-day park hopper for May 4-10 or December 1-7 would cost $815.16 through Unlocked Magic instead of $890.88, a savings of $75.72!
To make your tickets stretch further, you can also build in some resort-only days to your trip, so you do not need a ticket for each day of your stay or forgo the park hopper option to save a little more.
