Disney World 2027 Dates: EPCOT Festivals and After Hours Schedule

At the end of 2025, the Disney Parks Blog provided an unusual update. The site published a full 2026 schedule for Disneyland. Thus far, that timeline has proven almost entirely accurate, save for a couple of small edits.

Now, the blog has done the same thing for Walt Disney World. We just learned several key dates and updates for next year. Yes, Walt Disney World just confirmed its early 2027 schedule. Here’s everything we learned.

The Fun Begins on January 15th 

Earlier this year, I discussed the reasons why you should take a DVC visit in January. At the time, I guessed at the dates for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. 

I’m happy to say that Disney maintained its recent schedule. So, those of you who already booked are in great shape. The 2027 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will debut on January 15th, as predicted. The upcoming event will last for six weeks, ending on March 1st. 

Disney also announced that last year’s wildly popular event, Disney Lorcana TCG, will return as an anchor part of this year’s festival. If you’re not playing Lorcana yet, it’s a Disney trading card game that’s exploding in popularity.

Fittingly, Disney will expand its Lorcana offerings. Fans can participate in the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, the Collection Quest, and the Illumineer’s Lounge. 

As usual, the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series will anchor the Festival of the Arts. You should know the deal by now. Fans will swarm America Gardens Theatre at The American Adventure pavilion. They want to watch legitimate Broadway performers sing classic Disney tunes. These shows all sell out, but Disney has assured fans that the dining packages will return in 2027.

The blog also explicitly stated that we’re getting 19 Food Studios for the 2027 version of the event. Oh, and the Chart Art galleries are back as well. For fans of 3D imagery and stunningly fast illustration work, it’s a can’t-miss activity.

Since we’re still more than four months from the festival’s start, Disney didn’t provide additional details. So, keep checking back, and we’ll keep you informed. However, that’s far from the only big festival announcement…

Disney Reveals the 2027 Flower & Garden Dates

The Disney Parks Blog was in a giving mood this morning, as it also revealed more festival dates. We now know that the 2027 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run from March 10th to May 31st. 

I was just bragging about my Festival of the Arts guess, but I let you down a bit on Flower & Garden. Earlier this year, I guessed that it would begin on March 3rd and end on May 31st. So, I was a week early on that one, and I apologize for my mistake. Disney’s running Festival of the Arts a bit longer next year, which is a good thing. I think we all hope that becomes a permanent plan to run the festival throughout February. 

As for Flower & Garden 2027, the topiaries will obviously return next year. They’re the signature aspect of the festival each time, and they’re always stunning. Well, some may quibble that the Outdoor Kitchens are the best part of Flower & Garden, but both are amazing. 

Disney has also confirmed three nightly performances of the Garden Rocks Concert Series at America Gardens Theatre. Once again, the dining packages will remain an option. So, you can eat a great meal and then watch a tremendous performance at DISNEY ON BROADWAY and Garden Rocks next year.

Disney After Hours Will Return in 2027

Here’s the announcement that matters the most today. Disney After Hours will once again allow guests to stay at the parks when they’re officially closed to other guests. 

Those of you who want to book Disney After Hours tickets can do so as of today, September 10th, albeit with a caveat. You must already possess a official Walt Disney World hotel reservation for your travel dates. If you don’t have one yet, your booking window won’t open until September 22nd. Of course, as a DVC member, you can go ahead and book a room today. Then, you can buy tickets as desired. 

Disney World 2027 After Hours Schedule

For Magic Kingdom events, the Disney After Hours events start at 10 p.m. and run through 1 a.m. At Hollywood Studios at EPCOT, the party hours are from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Disney emphasizes that DVC members should make sure to log into our accounts first. By doing so, we’ll get a $30 discount on Disney After Hours tickets.
