Here Are the Dates for Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

You can look at your calendar or ask AI to tell you that Halfway to Halloween happened ten days ago. For a change, The Walt Disney Company waited until well after that event to announce its spooky festivities for this year. Thankfully, the wait is over, though. Here are the dates and intel for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025.
When Is the Party?
We are only 172 days away from Halloween, but that’s not even the best part. In recent years, Disney has started decorating for the event in late July in anticipation of an entire fall season dedicated to Halloween. So, we’re really only about two and a half months away from the start of Disney’s spooky season.
Right on cue, Disney just announced the dates for its iconic get-together, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP). In 2025, the party starts on August 15th and will run through Halloween Night, October 31st.
So, this year’s party will begin six days later than usual, which could feasibly delay decorations from late July until early August. We’ll track that in the coming weeks. For now, all that matters is that everyone’s favorite family-friendly Halloween party will debut in 95 days.

What Are the Dates and Ticket Prices?
Disney has confirmed all the 2025 dates for MNSSHP. Here’s the complete schedule:
- Aug. 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29
- Sept. 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30
- Oct. 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, 31
So, you can attend seven dates in August, 14 in September, and 17 in October. That’s a total of 38 different parties available in 2025, with more happening in October than any other month.
Generally speaking, Magic Kingdom will host the party on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays in August and September, although there’s one random Thursday event in September (the 25th) as well.
As a reminder, Disney’s Halloween parties start at 7 p.m. and last until midnight. By this point, the Cast Members are all dancing handing out all the candy they’ve got remaining in their barrels. So, you should always stay until the end if at all possible. You don’t need a park ticket to attend the event, and you can enter as early as 4 p.m. on the day of your MNSSHP event.

In terms of pricing, Disney hasn’t announced the individual date pricing yet, but we know the range. This year’s MNSSHP tickets will range from $119 to $229 per person plus tax. As usual, qualifying Disney Vacation Club members and annual passholders will receive discounts.
Importantly, tickets go on sale on Thursday, May 15th, for guests with a current Walt Disney World reservation. Everyone else can purchase tickets starting on May 22nd. In case you’ve forgotten, Halloween party tickets ALWAYS sell out, and they usually go quite fast these days, especially Halloween Night. If you intend to go this year, that extra week’s booking advantage could matter. You may want to book something now so that you purchase your tickets early on May 15th.
What Should We Expect at This Year’s Party?
As a reminder, MNSSHP embodies the best of Disney. At 7 p.m., with all the regular guests gone from the park, Magic Kingdom becomes an intimate gathering full of free candy, short ride lines, attraction overlays, and exclusive character greetings. You can also dress up as your favorite characters since Disney significantly loosens its cosplay restrictions. Basically, just don’t try to look like a Cast Member, and you’re fine!
As for the character greetings, Disney has promised a new one this year. “Mickey and Minnie will, for the first time, greet guests together in their Halloween costumes.” Also, Jack Skellington and Sally will say hello as well if you’d prefer something spookier than the First Couple of Disney. And the Parks Blog indicates that you can meet “rare characters like Pain & Panic from Disney’s Hercules, and Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph.” By the way, The Pumpkin King will also take over Cinderella Castle and host Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.

As usual, Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade will begin at 8:15 p.m. on party nights, and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular with the Sanderson Sisters will return as well. For fans of something newer, you’ll find a dance party based on the upcoming Zombies 4 and the rest of the Zombies franchise. Oh, and I’m happy to report that the Cadaver Dans are back for this year’s party!
In short, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will once again delight Disney fans of all ages. This event embodies the best of Disney, which is why it always sells out. I know I’ll be buying tickets on Thursday, and I warmly encourage everyone reading this to do the same.
