Welcome to the News You Need! There’s a lot going on around the Disney parks and I’m teaming up with DVC Resale Market each month to bring you parks and company news that will help you make informed decisions about buying, selling or just enjoying your points. Here are some great resources, tips, and information we think will make your Disney the best it can be over the next few months!

New Annual Pass Discounts and Perks! Through December 31, 2016, Annual Pass purchases and upgrades at WDW will receive 13 months for the price of 12. Merchandise discounts have also been increased to 20 percent and some food offerings and 10 percent on lots of dining! For more information, check out Walt Disney World’s Passholder pages.

A New Princess Meet & Greet at WDW A new princess meet and greet is coming to the former Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (BBB) location at World of Disney for a limited time through October 30. The line will work much like Santa’s line with pagers for return. Operating hours are 10am to 4pm daily in the former BBB location, and a Disney PhotoPass photographer will be available.

Disneyland’s Tower of Terror is Changing Disneyland’s Tower of Terror is being re-themed to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! The new ride will take guests into a “chaotic and hilarious” ride as they join live-action Marvel Rocket Raccoon in an attempt to bust the other Guardians out of captivity. The new experience is set to open in Summer of 2017.

Goodbye to Stitch’s Great Escape As of October 2, Stitch’s Great Escape at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will be a seasonal offering only. The attraction will be open November 19th-26th, 2016 and December 17th, 2016 – January 2nd, 2017. It’s likely going to close permanently after.

Toy Story Vans Disney has released an incredible collection in collaboration with Vans that pays tribute to Toy Story. Check out the bottoms of those Woody versions! See the whole collection here.
