New Lakeshore Lodge Details Announced: Lobby, Restaurants, and Fireworks Views

As DVC Members eagerly await Lakeshore Lodge which is projected to open in 2027, Disney has shared new details for venues at the upcoming resort, including the lobby, restaurants, and a new lounge for fireworks views. Here’s the latest on Lakeshore Lodge!

Lobby

As soon as guests enter Lakeshore Lodge’s lobby, they’ll be immersed in the resort’s nature motif. Floor-to-ceiling windows will offer plenty of sunlight as well as views of The Wetlands recreation area, and natural materials like river-recovered cypress wood will be featured in furnishings throughout the lobby. A Colors of the Wind sculpture with hundreds of suspended blown glass leaves, a fiberoptic river illuminating the floor, and tapestries depicting landscapes from Pocahontas will offer more subtle nods to the animated film, unlike the Pocahontas statue that was visible in the concept art of Reflections, the resort that was initially planned for Lakeshore Lodge’s location.

Restaurants

Table Service

Instead of the Tiana-inspired restaurant that was initially proposed for Reflections, guests can look forward to Moonglade, a table service restaurant right along Bay Lake. The menu will feature dishes with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.  Similar to the lobby, the waterfront restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows will showcase the beauty of Bay Lake and the cypress trees on its shores.

Quick Service

Lakeshore Lodge’s quick-service restaurant will be Bay Lake Provisions. This marketplace will serve specialty coffee, fresh dishes, and convenient grab-and-go selections. While at Bay Lake Provisions, guests will be able to see food being prepared in the open kitchen, and they may just spot some woodland creatures from Disney films hidden throughout the restaurant.

Pool Bar

Near Lakeshore Lagoon, the resort’s feature pool at The Wetlands, guests can enjoy shareable plates and specialty beverages at Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, which is inspired by plein-air painting. Incorporated into the pool bar’s decor will be original artwork by Disney Imagineers that is inspired by Bay Lake.

Fireworks View Lounge

A space not previously discussed by Disney is the Dandelion Terrace. This two-story lounge with dandelion light fixtures will offer guests beautiful fireworks views of Magic Kingdom. Besides the incredible views over Bay Lake, guests can also take in the gallery of archival work from Disney films such as Fantasia.
