Big Changes Come to Wailulu Bar & Grill

Wailulu Bar & Grill at the Polynesian Island Tower has quickly become a favorite among guests for its beautiful fireworks of the Seven Seas Lagoon and its menu of fresh dishes inspired by Polynesia. Less than a year since it opened, the restaurant has made some big changes to its daily operations. Here’s what to know before your next meal at Wailulu!
Advanced Dining Reservations
Wailulu was one of the few table service restaurants at Disney World that was walk-up or waitlist-only. However, as of December 3, 2025, guests can book advanced dining reservations for lunch and dinner at Wailulu through the My Disney Experience app or Disney World website. Although this can be a loss for guests who enjoyed the flexibility of dining without a reservation, the new reservation system can be helpful for guests who are hoping to dine during Happily Ever After.

Breakfast Service Has Ended
When Wailulu first opened, it had some light breakfast offerings from 7am to 11am daily. This included a small menu of grab-and-go items like a pineapple-coconut bread, croissant, banana muffin, cinnamon bun, yogurt, and fresh fruit as well as coffee, tea, and juice.

As of December 2025, breakfast is no longer being offered. Both the Wailulu breakfast menu and hours have been removed from the Disney World website. Instead, guests looking for a quick service breakfast can still visit Capt. Cook’s, get pastries and coffee from Kona Island, or order breakfast to go from Kona Cafe through the My Disney Experience app.
