Best Accommodations for Trips with Larger Parties

DVC is even better when you can share it with loved ones! If the more the merrier is your motto, here are some great DVC room types for travel parties of 8 or more.
For the Most Space
The largest accommodations among the DVC resorts are the Three Bedroom Grand Villas. Depending on the resort, these rooms can fit up to 12 guests. In addition to having three separate bedrooms, they each have large living rooms, full kitchens, and dining rooms to gather everyone together. These are ideal for vacations with extended family.

You’ll find Three Bedroom Grand Villas at all DVC resorts except for the Beach Club, Boulder Ridge, Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, and Vero Beach (which has Three Bedroom Beach Cottages instead).
For the Wow Factor
While the Three Bedroom Grand Villas are certainly stunning, there are a couple of unique standalone accommodations that are simply impressive. These include the Bora Bora Bungalows at the Polynesian and the Cascade Cabins at Copper Creek, both of which are two bedrooms and sleep up to 8 guests. The Bungalows sit right over the Seven Seas Lagoon and face the Magic Kingdom. You can even take a dip in the plunge pool or watch fireworks from the private deck!
The Cascade Cabins are more secluded and offer the perfect rustic chic setting to go glamping a short ferry ride away from the Magic Kingdom. The cabins have lots of natural lighting and a beautiful private deck with a double-sided fireplace and hot tub.

For Plenty of Space and Fewer Points
When you want that larger accommodation, but you also don’t love spending a lot of points, the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs are a great option. They have three bedrooms and can fit up to 9 guests. For 38 to 76 points per night, the Treehouse Villas are quite a bargain. That is significantly less than Three Bedroom Grand Villas, which can go for 63 to 139 points per night at Saratoga Springs.

For Fewer Points and the Extra Full Bathroom
For even fewer points than the Treehouse Villas, you can book a Two Bedroom Villa at Kidani Village that sleeps up to 8 guests. Like all other Two Bedroom Villas, the one at Kidani Village has a full kitchen, washer, and dryer. However, what sets it apart is that it has an extra bathroom for a total of three full bathrooms, which is helpful for traveling with larger groups.

There are other Two Bedrooms Villas that have the extra bathroom, such as those at Bay Lake Tower, the Polynesian, and Grand Californian, but these all cost more points than the Treehouse Villa.
For More Privacy
If you are a travel party of 10 or less, you could also look into staying in two separate but adjoining studios. This way, you can be close to one another but still have more privacy. Adjoining rooms are just a request and not guaranteed, but they are a possibility at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian.

Grand Floridian Resort Studio
At the Polynesian, the longhouses (Pago Pago, Tokelau, and Moorea) are made up entirely of Deluxe Studios, so you could have two adjoining rooms there. At the Grand Floridian, you could have adjoining Resort Studios in the Big Pine Key building.
