Disney Announces Food and Wine 2025 Dates and Events

Walt Disney World has started the week on a high note. Just one hour after confirming Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween 2025 party dates, the company went and revealed its other big Fall event as well. Yes, Disney just announced the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine dates and events. Here’s what you need to know.

When Does Food & Wine Start?

Before 2024, Disney had scheduled its festivals similarly for several consecutive years. The ending of Disney’s oldest exhibition, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, would lead directly to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

Then, EPCOT altered its practices a bit. The Flower & Garden Festival ended on May 27th, but Food & Wine didn’t begin until August 29th. At the time, Disney was about to open the CommuniCore Hall & Plaza. So, the expectation was that Disney didn’t want the festival running simultaneously with the debut.

Apparently, that wasn’t the case as Disney just revealed the dates for the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Once again, we’ll have a sizable gap between festivals, as the Flower & Garden event ends on June 2nd

Meanwhile, the Food & Wine Festival starts on August 28th, 2025. This year’s exhibition will last through November 22nd. So, that’s 87 days for the crown jewel of all Disney festivals. DVC members visiting this summer should be aware that you won’t have a festival, though.

What Should You Expect at This Year’s Festival?

The Global Marketplaces represent the heart and soul of the event, and Disney has promised more than 35 of them for 2025! You can eat at a different food booth every day for a month and still have new options remaining. That’s the glory of Food & Wine.

The Parks Blog promised a Disney Eats Foodie Guide that will list every menu item this year. In the interim, the company revealed a few of this year’s best menu items.

Apparently, cheese is very in this year. Emile’s Fromage Montage will serve all of it your tummy can take, with other food booths serving “mouthwatering cheese dishes” as well. Here are the ones the Parks Blog highlights:

  • Milled & Mulled: Fall Fruit Cheesecake featuring Boursin® Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake with Pomegranates and Candied Pecans
  • Brazil: Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread
  • Greece: Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey”

The scavenger hunt will also return in 2025. Remy’s Hide & Squeak always entertains, as you hunt for little Remy statues at the various pavilions. You get a prize at the end when you finish your checklist.

Here’s a Bit More about This Year’s Festival

Also, fans of classic rock music will be happy to know that the Eat to the Beat concert series is back again. Disney hasn’t announced the lineup yet, but I’ll remind you that Yellowcard’s shows last year bottlenecked the entire World Showcase. Maybe this is the year Disney entices The Killers to play Mr. Brightside at Eat to the Beat. We’ll update you once the full music schedule is live, as I know that’s appointment viewing for many DVC members.

Disney confirmed that the Eat to the Beat dining packages will be available for this year’s shows. That’s a vital purchase when a band like Yellowcard is playing. You’re unlikely to get a seat at the show otherwise. The dining package includes the following:

  • “Choose from breakfast, lunch, or dinner
  • Appetizer, Entrée, and Dessert or a buffet
  • Non-Alcoholic Beverage or an Alcoholic Beverage (for guests aged 21 and older)”

Disney hasn’t posted the list of participating restaurants yet, but they’ll probably be the same as in 2024. On the bright side, park officials confirmed that Living with the Land will once again add themed displays. You can read about the ingredients being grown at the lab and learn which Food & Wine dishes utilize them.

To a larger point, DVC members are already deeply familiar with all the joys of Food & Wine. It’s why many of us own at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas and Disney’s Beach Club Villas. We want to stay as close to the action as possible. And now you know that the action begins on August 28th. Since we just learned that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party also begins in August, you can spend this Fall embracing the joy of both events!
