DVC Resale Market Adds a Wealth of Knowledge and Passion with Former Disney Marketing Manager and DVC Guide

At DVC Resale Market, we are thrilled to be adding Derek DeBoer to our Sales Team.  Derek adds a rich Disney experience to a growing DVC Resale Market Team.

The first thing you should know about Derek DeBoer is his passion for Disney and the Disney brand.  More than anything Derek loves to be able to assist families, and bring the “magic” of Disney to them.  With this passion, it is no surprise Derek has had a long career with Disney. His Disney path started in the Midwest, and would eventually lead him all over the world.

He began his Disney career as a Marketing Manager in 1999 with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts based out of Chicago.  Eventually, he would make the transition into sales in 2007 as a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Guide with the opening of Doorway To Dreams at the Woodfield Mall in the northwest area of Chicago.  There, he lead the team in sales each year while bringing the “magic” to families throughout the Midwest.

Ultimately, his Disney path led him to Walt Disney World in 2014 when he joined the DVC Cruise Team.  As a Cruise Team Member he continued his excellence in performance in sales as well as taking on opportunities to coach and mentor new team members.

Now, as the newest member of the DVC Resale Market, Derek will be once again welcoming home families to the Disney Vacation Club Family as well as assisting those families that may need to sell.  Derek, along with Marissa and Nick will be supporting DVC Resale Market’s social media platforms as well.  For more information on Derek DeBoer, please see Derek’s Bio.

While Derek has created many great memories through working for Disney, nothing beats his favorite Disney memory of when his wife said “I do” at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion in 1996.
