Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser 2023 Reservations Available

Disney’s hottest new resort/immersive cruise, experience has just opened its booking window for most of 2023. Let’s talk about the new reservation options for Disney Vacation Club members.

Galactic Starcruiser Accepting Reservations for 2023

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser has earned acclaim for its innovative form of immersive storytelling. On this “cruise,” guests live out their personal Star Wars adventures. Before the new Star Wars Hotel opened, guests didn’t quite know what to expect, while early word-of-mouth bordered on hostile. Since then, Disney has taken a prolonged victory lap due to the stunning achievement of the Galactic Starcruiser.

The hotel has virtually sold out every three-day cruise since it opened on March 1st, 2022. That six-month hot streak borders on unprecedented for new Disney resorts. Simply stated, guests cannot get enough of this novel form of detailed storytelling. Once you check in as a guest on the Halcyon, the crown jewel of the Chandrila Star Line, you’ll experience a luxury vacation amongst the stars.

To Star Wars fans, this resort embodies a lifetime of hopes and dreams fulfilled in a single three-day/two-night stay. Guests embark on a series of quests that draw them into the conflict between The First Order and The Resistance. People must choose sides in this ongoing struggle. Meanwhile, all the design elements at the Star Wars Hotel enhance the illusion that you’re traveling through outer space and, sometimes, hyperspace. The visual splendor of Galactic Starcruiser differentiates it from any previous hotel.

For these reasons, guests have snagged every possible reservation for Galactic Starcruiser. However, I’m happy to report that most 2023 dates are now available for booking. Disney is now accepting reservations for January 1st through September 30th, 2023. Rates start at $4,809 for double occupancy on the Galactic Starcruiser.

DVC Owners Can Book 2023 Dates Using DVC Points

Disney pleasantly surprised DVC members earlier this year by announcing an unexpected booking option. We owners may use our DVC Points to schedule reservations on Galactic Starcruiser.

Unfortunately, this option didn’t prove as significant as it sounded. DVC members are painfully aware of the points cost for standard cruise bookings. That same logic applies to Galactic Starcruiser. Disney employs a “special Disney Collection exchange opportunity” to perform these bookings. Frankly, the Points Chart may give you sticker shock.

DVC members must pay 282-365 points each for a standard cabin. Remember that this pricing reflects double occupancy. So, we’re really talking about 564-730 points for a voyage on Galactic Starcruiser. Also, these rates increase for larger parties. A third guest costs 57 points for a child or 83 points for an adult. Many DVC members lack the requisite points to book this way. It’s mainly for the program’s whales. Still, DVC owners love this option because booking Galactic Starcruiser comes with its own challenges. Sellouts happen so often and so early that you’re happy when you can get anything.

Remember that we’re still as much as a year away from these hotel stays. Regular Disney fans aren’t used to planning that far ahead, but it’s second nature for DVC members. So, we can capitalize on this early booking window. The catch is that most of us lack the needed DVC Points to book on the Galactic Starcruiser. But, thankfully, there’s a superior option available.

The DVC Rental Store Swap Program for Galactic Starcruiser

DVC Rental Store recently introduced a new system to prevent members from wasting their hard-earned DVC Points.

The gist is that DVC Rental Store can reserve a Star Wars Hotel room for you much cheaper than Disney ever would. A comparison chart suggests that DVC requires 698 points plus the unavoidable $95 booking fee for a cabin, a massive amount.

Savvy DVC members speak with DVC Rental Store experts to determine a booking date for Galactic Starcruiser. Then, DVC Rental Store returns with a quote indicating how many DVC Points you must swap to reserve that Galactic Starcruiser cabin. The swap program has a straightforward process that ensures you can visit the Star Wars Hotel in 2023! But, more importantly, you’ll save several hundred DVC Points by swapping rather than booking directly through Disney.

Obviously, you should act quickly here. Based on its 2022 performance, Galactic Starcruiser will likely start selling out 2023 dates rapidly. The booking window has opened for all potential guests as of September 1st. So, now is the time to put those DVC Points toward a dream vacation, Star Wars fans!

These are just a few of the many DVC resale perks and benefits that come with being a part of the DVC Resale Market family! With amazing benefits and a team of experts, DVC Resale Market is the obvious choice for anyone looking to buy a Disney Vacation Club Membership.
