Where Can You Learn More About DVC?

Perhaps you heard about Disney Vacation Club from the kiosks throughout the Disney theme parks and resorts, or maybe you started looking into DVC while combating the “post-Disney blues” after coming back from a recent trip.  Either way, DVC is a big purchase, so it’s important to do your research before buying a contract.  Here are some of the best resources to learn more about the ins and outs of DVC!

Read Blogs and Watch Vlogs

Blogs like this one, the one from DVC Rental Store, and the one from DVC Fan have a wealth of information.  You can also watch the vlogs from DVC Fan and World of DVC.  These resources teach you all about the resorts and great tips and tricks to get the most out of your DVC points and enhance your stays!  Not sure where to start?  Check out the Virtual Tour video series at DVCRM:  It’s got all the DVC basics like explanations of home resorts, vacation points, Use Year, and banking and borrowing.

Ask DVC Members for Advice

Hear directly from DVC Members!  Groups like DVC Fan’s Facebook group are incredibly helpful.  No question is too small: What’s availability like at a certain resort?  Which resort do you recommend for a family of 5?  Which is your favorite studio?  Where’s the best place to eat when staying at Saratoga Springs?

The group is the perfect place to get answers from those who have firsthand experience with DVC.  With over 33,000 members, there are lots of different perspectives, from experienced Members who have been part of DVC for decades to newer Members who are just embarking on their DVC journey as well as other people who aren’t Members yet but trying to learn more about DVC.

Visit Resorts and Tour Models

If you happen to be at Disney World, be sure to check out the resorts and tour model rooms.  At Disney World, you can find model rooms at Saratoga Springs, Riviera, the BoardWalk, Polynesian, Cabins at Fort Wilderness, Animal Kingdom Villas, Bay Lake Tower, Copper Creek, Grand Floridian, and Gateway to Discovery at Disney Springs.  Just see one of the cast members at the DVC kiosks to schedule an open house tour.

Even if you visit the resorts to check out the restaurants or shops, it helps give you a sense of the theming, amenities, and overall ambiance.

Rent DVC Points

There’s no better way to learn about the DVC resorts than to try them out yourself!  You don’t even have to be a DVC Member to rent points.  If you’d like to try a DVC resort for your next Disney vacation for less than it would cost compared to booking directly through Disney, check the confirmed reservations that have already been booked and are waiting to be claimed, or contact the DVC Rental Store for a free quote.

Talk to DVC Resale Market

Resale contracts are a great way to save thousands on your DVC contract!  To learn more about resale contracts, contact the sales associates at DVC Resale Market.  The team includes former DVC cast members, so you know they are truly experts when it comes to Disney Vacation Club and helping you find the right contract for you.
